“Thank you, Michele and Paul, for offering the beautiful South Camp home for our family's week vacation. We loved swimming in the super clear, clean water, seeing the fish jump, boating with you, bonfires, fossils and fun. I'm hooked on the fossil collecting and can't wait to come back. The house was lovely and comfortable, the scenery was both stunning and peaceful, and our stay was both active and relaxing. Thank you! Margaret, Brett, Joe and Christina, August, 2024”

“Thank you for making our week at Fall Brook a reality. It was probably one of the most special weeks and one that I will hold very close to my heart. There’s something extra special about it being the first time everyone was at Fall Brook together. Seeing everyone enjoy their day as they wanted, whether that was on the boat, swimming, sea glass/rock hunting, or relaxing by the fire, brought me so much joy. It was magical to see the tiny humans enjoy Fall Brook just as we did as kids - reliving the glory of Fall Brook through their eyes was awesome. Carly, August 2024”

“Hi Michele and Paul,
I want to share what a great week our family had at Fall Brook. The week started with the bonus of meeting Paul when we arrived. It was so great to meet you Paul and we know how much you support your family with the upkeep and love of the house. I told Paul, and I am serious, that we would come for a few work/cleaning days. I cannot imagine how much work it is to keep the house and property in good condition.
We noticed the fresh painting and loved the new rug in the family room. There is something special about Fall Brook that cannot be put into words. It was our first time staying at Fall Brook with our family and we hope to continue this tradition every summer. Carole, August 2024”

“A beautifully scenic and truly relaxing place where you can disconnect and recharge. The property and lake are unbelievable with an amazing downtown for a little fun when needed :) We had a blast and give a ton of thanks to Fall Brook! Jon & Lauralee 2023”

“Recently, my family and I spent some time at Fall Brook Point in Skaneateles, NY.
First, it is not too much to say that the location is remarkable. Situated on a large point within this amazingly clean and clear lake, you get long views to both the north and south.
Second, waking up in the morning to the sound of both the waves along the stone beach and the waterfall that is on the property is unreal. Yes, the waterfall is a on the property and adds to the sense of wonder that this place provides. Third, both of my children enjoyed this trip immensely, with one telling us that a) she will not leave :) and b) that she wants to come back every year—forgoing other trips we typically take and coming to Fall Brook instead. On the property you can fish off of the dock, swim in the lake, sunbathe on the floating platform, hike in the morning, and sit by a fire at night. (For anyone wondering, while there are two homes for rent on the property, due to the distance between, orientation of the homes (different lots at different heights), and separate outdoor areas, this was never an issue and we barely noticed. (Except for when our younger son asked the other young kids to play and they spent hours running across the property.))
Beyond the walls of the house and extent of the large property, there are things to do around the lake as well. From an impressive winery 12 minutes down the road to trips into town, only 8 minutes past the winery, there is enough to do to break up the day/week while never leaving the feeling of being in a place that is truly worth visiting over and over again.
Clearly we enjoyed our trip to Fall Brook, and while I am writing this review to share our experience, I hope you don't book the week I want next year. Though if you do, I have to believe that you will enjoy it as much as we did. Mike and Family, August 2023”

“August 2023
Together our family shared some very memorable and precious times at Fall Brook Point’s South Camp on Skaneateles Lake. The camp itself is beautifully rustic and perfectly situated, allowing for majestic views from the porch at all times of the day and night. I especially enjoyed having my coffee there in the morning while witnessing the glorious sunrises. My children and grandchildren wasted no time swimming at our private beach throughout the day and even in the evenings. Skaneateles Lake is very cold yet some of the most refreshing and rejuvenating waters in the world and well worth the experience!!
The shower was also quite therapeutic with its superb water pressure, not to mention how clean you feel afterwards. Skaneateles Lake water is some of the cleanest water to drink and wash with. Much of the Syracuse area is supplied with water from it.
The camp is very spacious and easy on the eye with very sturdy wooden ceilings, walls, and floors, that are accentuated even more so, with the sun shinning so brilliantly in all of the many windows. It certainly is a very special camp to have the privilege to stay at and I’d highly recommend doing so. We hope to return again soon!
Thank you Michele and family for your kindness and excellent communication!
Sincerely,
Christina Cassell and family.”

“Fall Brook has been a yearly destination for my family since 1990, and I cannot imagine a summer without this week on the shores of Skaneateles Lake. I first visited when I was 12, and my family has now come full circle, as this past year, our daughter turned 12. She too delights in time spent with aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents -- and as the years have gone by, we can now add second cousins and great-grandparents to the list of relations that connect at Fall Brook.
This is a place to make memories, the memories that keep you warm in the depths of winter as you dream of summer, for this is how summers should be spent: outside, spending time with loved ones, sharing morning coffee on the porch, cooling off in the lake, telling stories around the campfire, and just being together without the distractions of the day-to-day. Fall Brook is a place that practically wills these moments into existence. Truly a special destination. John 2023”

“What a spectacular place! My family and I had the privilege of being this summer's first guests. As this was our first time at Fall Brook, we were not sure what to expect. We were blown away! The size of the Main House and beachfront allowed us all (16 in total!) to relax without feeling cramped. Being able to rent this year was an absolute blessing, as we were able to gather together family members from far (as far as Africa!) and wide for the first time since before the pandemic. The porch became our main gathering space - coffees in the early morning, cocktail hours at five on the dot, dancing in the evenings. a place to share old and new family stories. The uncooperative weather (early June in CNY - if you know, you know) didn’t dampen our spirits and we had such a wonderful time. Michele was so accommodating and a pleasure to work with! Fall Brook is definitely one of the best kept secrets in the Fingerlakes! Faith 2023”

“I always read your yearly email about summer rentals at Fall Brook with warm and wonderful memories of all our summer vacations there. Since we live in the Binghamton area, we still make a trip or two to Skaneateles every year. We drive by the Fall Brook entrance and just want to go down the road to South Camp. It warms my heart just to drive by and spend the day in town. The beauty and serenity of Fall Brook is always with me and I have a picture that we took from the South Camp porch of the dock and lake that is on our desk. Fall Brook will always hold a special place in our hearts. Barb and Dave”

“We spent an absolutely fantastic week at the Main House and South Camp for our annual family reunion in July 2022.
There was plenty of space for all 21 of us and the accommodations were great.
The expanse of water frontage on the property allowed us to enjoy the morning sun in front of the South Camp and in front of the Main House later in the day. The entire property had something for everyone. Wonderful fishing, boating, swimming, and games, morning, noon, and night.
The point had absolutely incredible views in all directions. We found ourselves sitting down by the lake every evening with a bonfire and roasting s’mores to our hearts content.
Looking forward to returning to this magical place on beautiful Skaneateles Lake for years to come!”
